'Sar tan se Juda' mob hits the streets again in UP's Bahraich:

A 14-year-old Hindu boy and a Muslim boy had a heated conversation over the entry of burqa-clad women into temples. During the exchange of messages and videos, the Muslim boy sent a clip of Salman Azhari and also insulted Hindu gods and goddesses. The Hindu boy responded, and soon, screenshots of this chat went viral with accusations of #Blasphemy.

An FIR was registered against minor Hindu boy. Islamic religious leaders reached his house, where a video apology was recorded. Despite this, the same night a 'Sar Tan Se Juda' mob, numbering over 1000, arrived at his house, calling for his beheading.

When police arrived, the mob manhandled an officer and insulted him, leading to another FIR against around 1000 Muslims for causing a disturbance, disrupting traffic for hours, and abusing an officer on duty.

Doesn't the cases of 'Sar Tan Se Juda' mobs hitting the streets in India rising at an alarming pace? As if we are in Pakistan, this calls for a need of stringent and dedicated law to curb this menace.
