Serious concern during a Zomato delivery 🚨

Faced a concerning delivery experience last night. The order was delayed due to multiple groupings. When the person finally came, I felt something didn’t match the registered name “Ashok Ram"

As he was leaving, I casually asked, “Kya naam hai aapka?” he instantly replied “Bismillahum”. When I asked again, he changed his answer saying people call him that but his name is “Ashok”.

I asked to see his ID card; he refused and left abruptly. His body language completely changed.

Forget the delay but this is a serious safety issue if the person is not registered with actual name? @deepigoyal @zomato please investigate if accounts are registered with fake credentials/IDs or shared by someone else(mechanism to detect this? Device binding?. Also delivery partners should have visible ID cards while delivering for everyone’s safety.

Recently, the Govt released a press note via PIB addressing concerns about the impact of 20% Ethanol Blended Petrol (E20) on mileage and vehicle life.

The note also highlighted pollution reduction, more income for farmers, and rural economy. But what about the consumers?

1) Do consumers have assurance from automakers and insurance companies that no warranty or claim will be denied due to E20 fuel?

2) Are all vehicles E20 compliant? If not, then E20 must not be compulsory.

3) Why are consumers not being given the choice of E5, E10, and E20 instead of a blanket push for E20?

4) If mileage drops with E20, will the govt or OMCs compensate consumers for higher fuel consumption?

5) What safeguards exist for older vehicles against breakdowns or voided warranties caused by forced E20 use?

Consumers are stakeholders too. Give citizens the option of E5, E10 along with E20; most concerns will be resolved.

The world praised Lion as a heart-wrenching story of a lost Indian child. It was based on autobiography of Saroo Brierley, who got separated from his family at age 5, ended up in orphanage and was adopted by an Australian couple. At 30, he found his birth family in India.

But what did the Australian filmmakers do? Whitewashed facts to hide Love Jihad and invented a paedophile character named after Lord Ram.

▶️ Autobiography says Saroo’s biological father was a Muslim man who:

- Married a Hindu woman, got her converted
- Constantly beat her up
- Forced circumcision on children
Abandoned them all
- Took a second wife
- Tried to throw the first wife and children out of the area
- Forced the first wife to work as construction labourer

▶️ None of this made it to the film.

INSTEAD….

- The film invented a character named “Ram” who is a paedophile.

▶️ Who plays this made-up child abuser?
