@NeenaHingorani @Spinswebs@kimmythepooh A fun and enlightening exercise I did was to reach out to family and cousins that I knew and started building a family tree on Geni. Soon others were getting added and we have a 750+ tree now and growing. Now i do know my family history!
@justindotnet Thanks for the link. I appreciate the thoughtful analysis. I understand the numbers and impact of the demographics. However, that doesn't directly answer why greatschools rates them low. Is it a lack of rigor in the GS methodology? Lack of data? Has it been explored?
Scary stuff overall.

"IP address is extracted from six integer values for GPS latitude and longitude in the EXIF information"! https://t.co/VNzy7gXosR
The longer I stay in tech the more my role seems to become remembering the last time we fucked something up and warning people who are about to do it again.
@ng_tracyy @editingemily I would take folks off the enjoyable/fun tasks for a few days as timeout. And give it to someone who has been eager to do more. At the end of it, i have two well behaving and motivated team members who respect commitments and boundaries.
Management in a nutshell: Pretend everyone you manage is 3 years old.
Mood changed on a dime? They need love. Rolled their eyes behind your back? Choose your battles. They broke a clear expectation? Timeout. They apologized? They're forgiven!
Boom! You're an amazing manager. https://t.co/iAbPDKZ2lj
