@forsman_josh@CarlBehrens3@Kaleb_Atlanta Then why did He use the future tense?
And who said anything about staring? That's a dumb caricature.
The Bible *clearly* says that we shall see Him ***AS HE IS.*** I don't see how you can get around that without twisting yourself into a pretzel.
Demons hate the crucifix precisely because it is in the weakness of Jesus crucified that the power and glory of the Father is shown to the world.
When they see the crucifix, they see the power of God. When they see the crucifix, they see their defeat.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Cor 12:9
In the New Covenant, the only ones who have authority to teach doctrine (interpret the Bible) are:
—Jesus
—The Apostles
—Those they appointed (Titus, Timothy, etc.); and
—Those appointed by Titus, Timothy, etc.
That’s it.
If you weren’t ordained in such fashion, it’s not you.

@ARealWildCat@August1757657 Who the heck cares what Seraphim Rose or John of Shanghai said about Christ's One True Church founded by Jesus Himself upon Kepha the Rock? So they were clueless anti-Catholic bigots. So, what else is new?
Can't wait to get off of this hellsite for Lent.
For every TLM cancelled I know of another Novus Ordo moving to full Latin or a cathedral in a diocese adopting Latin more. Eventually, when this pope goes, and his ilk die off, the damn will break and the Latin will flood in. Both new rite and old. They aren’t going to win guys.
@marcado_razon@DianeKamer Yes! I have been joking that @langluigi_ and those other dudes have been kicking against the goads. But what if they really *are* kicking against the goads?
