@MartinSLewis Current price cap is at 5.9p / kwh for Gas and the Eon fixed 6.59/kwh. That’s 10% higher gas bills for April - July, 4 months, to save on costs of next 8. The price cap beyond July projected to be at 15% rise, so we are giving away 10% for 4 months to save on 15% for 8 months?
Our Chief Executive Tara Singh has written in the Telegraph today setting out why it’s time to take energy out of the culture wars, and how the UK will be stronger, safer and less exposed if it produces more home-grown energy of every kind ✍
In the article, she sets out how renewables are now the fastest, cheapest and most effective way to reduce Britain’s exposure to volatile fossil-fuel markets, and why any serious energy policy will continue to accelerate their deployment⚡
The message is clear:
📢 Prioritise renewables, because they now offer the best route to lasting energy security.
Britain does not need the ongoing ideological argument about energy. It needs a practical one. We should back what works. And what works is more home-grown energy, with clean power leading the way 💪

@MartinSLewis Your EON deal cancelled for no reason, no contact, zero emails to me, less than 24 hours after making the application. They will not honour the deal.
@MartinSLewis The EON dual energy switch is a dud, getting rejected after a day for no reason, zero emails from EON - can i suggest taking it up with them why they are not honouring their offering and maybe removing them from panel.
@Ed_Miliband What about the rest 4/5 families, are we supposed to keep paying for your lousy, incompetent policies? Resign, we need someone who can deliver faster for the majority.
@LibDems The BBC has admitted wrongdoing and you are still defending them? What are you trying to gain from this, how detached you can get from current sentiment?
@TfL any update on fixing the traffic lights on Bushey Road, Grand Drive junction in SW20 - they have been out since 2100PM 01/10 - extremely dangerous situation for pedestrians and drivers.
