Very sad news that the wonderful Bonnie Greer, playwright and novelist has died aged 77. I interviewed her a couple of times and watched her on BBC QT. She was a smart, sassy, firebrand who will be missed from our public discourse RIP 🙏🏽

The 41 year old was found dead at his home today. He was complicated, vulnerable, and at times reckless but he was a human being . He didn’t deserve to be treated as fodder in a culture war. Cambridge and the other institutions that benefited from his appointment must also be hold themselves to account for their part in his story.
