Like so many, I’m pretty much at my limit with this app, and country, actually. Not like I can go anywhere else, Brexit scuppered that. And no, not because I’m unpatriotic it’s because Britain isn’t really Britain anymore and not in a racist “too many foreigners” way but because, thanks to the con artists, we’re riddled with Russian interference and starting to resemble Trump’s America.

We’ve always benefitted from immigration, economically and culturally, they knew that so had to make people hate or fear immigrants to pull it off. It’s working unfortunately. It’s (deliberately) all you see and hear, that takes root.

It is depressing watching what the new govt is facing. Despite it being early days, it doesn’t look like they’re gonna get a fair crack. The sheer weight and volume of bullshit being spun is immense. It always comes back to the media, the tactics of the hard right, shadily funded lobby groups, unabated conspiracy and traitors cosplaying as patriots destroying our country to benefit foreign powers or the super rich.

Conspiracies are deliberately becoming mainstream, thanks to the media uncritically platforming Farage or Tice at any opportunity, causing objective fact to be up for debate instead of absolute, the British right is morphing in to The US Republican Party. The participants (Jenrick, etc) likely don’t believe what they’re saying but want the donations, profit and power that comes from conning millions into believing bullshit.

If you draw attention to this you sound conspiratorial but it is reported. We can all see how it operates if we look, the problem is that so many don’t.

Millionaires and billionaires can engage in cyber warfare, flood social media with waves of bots. If a big company doing something that harms us wants to continue profiting they’ll just toddle down to Tufton St and enlist a lobby group they’re funding to get their message in a headline on the front pages or on the news, because this is how it works.

Just like Brexit. Just look at where Odey is putting his money and you’ll find the next group of people happy to destroy our country for profit. Almost every political investment he’s made has resulted in us getting poorer as a country so he can profit. Hardly surprising he turned up at a Reform fundraiser is it? Considering he helped fund those wanting to leave the EU, then made millions as the pound tanked when they succeeded.

Odey donated over £350k to the Tory Party and over £870k to pro Brexit groups. He also, as a man who profits from the fossil fuel industry, donated thousands to Rees Mogg who then suddenly (and entirely coincidentally) became pro fracking.

He’s just donated £10k to Reform. All this despite allegations of sexual misconduct as reported by Tortoise. It’s not just Reform accepting donations from a disgraced financier, he’s an omen of doom. He puts a little into a party or scheme, his return is millions, he profits from our decline and backs those that cause it.

He’s the fat canary in the coal mine that we’re forced to toil in to pay it all back, via austerity.

Then there’s the hedgefunders surrounding Truss and Kwarteng before and after the mini budget. Any party with huge hedgefunder support is going to ruin us so the wealthy can profit. Look at the millions made by Farage post Brexit. They have ways to ruin those that that successfully draw attention to it. Just look at Carole Cadwalladr.

So many are brainwashed, the riots made that clear. The counter protests were affirming but the zone is flooded daily and we’re all glued to our phones. I have no idea how Starmer can counter it. Millions are radicalised. He’d be a fucking idiot not to implement press reform.

I’m wondering if there’s any point having my life destroyed if nobody will listen. We’re in trouble. The threat is increasing and I, like many, have no idea if my dip in the ocean is worth it anymore. Considering the personal ruin that can be inflicted just for telling the truth or pisstaking.
