If I had to build cold outbound with no brand:
•Sales Nav for laser ICP
•Clay for AI-powered personalisation
•Instantly for high-volume testing
•Hubspot for tracking + alerts
•LinkedIn Ads for retargeting
I was made redundant once. Still on target and performing
It taught me this:
→You're never immune. Business isn’t personal.
→Own the plan if you can. Challenge it.
→ If you can't, make yourself essential. Calm, smart, hard to cut.
Redundancy is a moment, not a definition
@nntaleb The most common is that is mostly driven by the performance of 7 companies which seemed to be hyped by aggressive expectations of the benefits of AI.
Could it be that the amount of USD debt at high yield is pricing in the expectations of currency devaluation?
@Jasielinvests What’s your take on the contrarian way of thinking - invest in people that are not ‘experts’ and relatively new to the industry because they bring a fresh way of thinking and are not ‘set in their ways’?
@GermannHj@Ross__Hendricks You’re right, however the importance and focus of near term earnings is that it readjusts the next 25 year earnings. If the expectation is growth of 3% on EPS over 25 years, but the immediate next earnings is lower, it readjusts those expectations.
@jasonlk Yes, but you’re assuming that they need to make those returns within a year period when the reality is that those funds have an average holding period of 6 years (some longer). The great ones have annualised returns of 16-18% - LPs need to understand that.
If you’re looking for a good read to understand more about #VentureCapital make it - Power Law by @scmallaby - it combines the perfect amount of details and storytelling of the industry.
@Samirkaji Hubspot makes it super easy if you’re a startup with their built-in sales analytics. But if you want to hyper customise your data probably salesforce.
Not a CRM but if you want to create outbound campaigns - Salesloft and https://t.co/8fxzYbYTzM are great
@ankurnagpal Focus on maximising earnings. You can only save up to a certain degree without compromising on your quality of life.
Also, the best investment you can make is on yourself - health, knowledge, and peace of mind - whatever that is for you.
People buying $NVDA at 225x earnings, how long are you thinking of holding?
Don’t get me wrong I’ve been long since 2015, but what’s the rationale behind getting in at such high prices?
