At Today’s Dietitian symposium in GA. Loved the #Derailtheshame most on Day 1. Loved the msg how wt loss is made look easy by society., but, far from it, it’s struggle.
My kids survived first week back to school. Phew! It wouldn’t be short of any miracle if we survive this wave without contracting Covid. Keeping fingers crossed….And mask on.
@Leicnut@leicdan I can see that happening very easily as our society molds say it’s a female issue as some need to look and carry their thinnest weight possible.
Them: "Failure is not an option."
Me: "BS."
Real talk? Failure IS a possibility--whether you opted for it or not. But giving up and redefining yourself as a failure? Now THAT'S not an option.
You will lose sometimes. And that's okay. It's what you do next that matters.

@AliBooker_RD Never heard this term before. Learning. How is it differently diagnosed than a chronic fatigue syndrome. And what would be care plan if an athlete is 42 YOF, wife and mom and is eating quality foods meeting nutritional needs in terms of Cal/MVI
