🌊 OFFSHORE WIND SUBSIDIES GET A NEW HOME

According to the Healey Administration, no company has applied for Massachusetts' offshore wind tax incentive program in the last two years.

Rather than letting those taxpayer dollars go unused, the House approved language allowing up to $35 million annually to be redirected into a state offshore wind fund that can finance projects such as improvements to the Salem port.

Even when the subsidies aren't being used, Beacon Hill finds a way to spend the money anyway.
