@mathewlhunt@paola_rojas Exactly that. And why not focus on supplies on earth - e.g. @pulsarhelium said to have commercial levels of He-3 in Minnesota.
@rennyzucker Everyone seems obsessed with the SaaS / Software apocalypse. Most of the stocks you've picked I'd put under the investment thesis heading of inference, agents & the trust layer. They do well in an AI world or at v. worst are defensible.
@Robin25461631@pulsarhelium I get that a long test can vent meaningful value, but if it's a genuinely large & commercial reservoir, the volume lost is worth it because it de-risks the entire project.
@Robin25461631@pulsarhelium That's my concern. Topaz looks to have fractured reservoir behaviour which can give impressive initial flows & pressure responses, but real test is if connected fracture network & surrounding storage can keep feeding the well.
@willis_macp Not naming undermines trust in safeguarding structures, especially after ICEC report calling for more transparency & accountability. Also means other orgs may have no idea thereโs a safeguarding issue, particularly if thereโs no corresponding flag or change on DBS record.
@ErnestWongBWM It's true that insider buying is often leads to short term share price gains & future abnormal returns are statistically significant after "meaningful" insider purchases.
But correlation is not causation & here I'm focusing on voluntary purchases, not simply holding.
@ChrisMurphyCT Walking is such a great way of naturally connecting with others. You get a much richer understanding of different ways of life. @RoryStewartUK you'll relate to this!
Rory & @campbellclaret, a candidate for @RestIsPolitics Leading please?
@knoweuro@BrocqChristine@PaulEmbery@CPSUK Yes - 2 stage test.
1. Is there is sufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of a conviction; and
2. It is in the public interest to prosecute.
@knoweuro@BrocqChristine@PaulEmbery Obv for jury to determine guilt; but CPS clearly think reasonable chance of prosecution on GBH intent offences. If they believed no intent aspect, then you'd expect charges under something like causing serious injury by dangerous driving, S1A RTA, where no intent needed.
@CF_Farrow There are no citizens on the Chagos Islands, & any previous inhabitants certainly weren't British.
Do you mean he's betrayed the Chagossians who were removed in the 60s & 70s to make way for the military base?
@Robin25461631 SeaLion is a really interesting project. How they can get breakeven to $24-25/bbl is impressive. But given logistical complexities, you'd be looking for oil price to be >$70-75/bbl for a positive FID?
@paulg@AdnanHussainMP If we're defending the right to burn the Koran, then we must also defend the right to burn the US flag, the Bible, & the Torah. If that makes you uncomfortable as an idea, then maybe we're not actually defending free speech at all. But just defending our speech.
@Wexboy_Value @clickfornickbee @smarterwebuk Exactly. As I said, it's the UK's MicroStrategy...
...if MicroStrategy could count its Bitcoin on its fingers, had no profits, and ran a Wix site. ๐
@walty_pic Distressed for a reason. They're clearly working on an RTO, but key risk is they run out of time or cash before securing a credible target a& Nomad/LSE pre-clearance. One to watch from the sidelines. Even if they announce something, it may not qualify as an RTO. #COR
