Sometimes an online date ends with a friendship rather than a potential relationship. Sometimes you're very lucky and both of you stay in contact as friends, no unrequited weirdness.

My dating profiles are getting attention from a lot of 20s men... a couple of 30s men... but not really any 40s/50s men.

When I was on apps 3-4 years ago in my late 20s, I had a lot more 40s/50s men (few 20s/30s) liking my profiles.

I hit my 30s and suddenly the age shift 🤔

One problem I've been pondering on making a dating profile (for women new to online dating) is figuring how to attract (and not scare off) the quality men and also discourage the creepy and unsafe men... all while still being interesting and sincere

@MegLivInsideOut And when I was between jobs and studying, just visiting the children's section was special. Especially since sometimes I could tell parents what such-and-such properties were about when their kids picked such properties 🙃

@MegLivInsideOut Before my campus library got renovated, my favorite spot to introvert out was the children's literature section (literally just selecting books I hadn't tried before, sitting on the floor, and reading). The renovated library is too clean and polished to spark that kind of joy.
