I’ve found a new WORST company. @FedExHelp - you are utterly pathetic. Impossible to speak to a human. Package delayed for no reason. No answers. Embarrassment of a company. Never again.
@ShaanVP Installed it right away after your rec and it's all I want to use now. You described it perfectly - way less setup, and multiplayer. People mocking their launch and calling it a "Slack skinned OpenClaw" are missing out.
Also been using it 1.5 days, no upgrade needed, yet.
Today's White House Press Briefing had a 98% chance of running over 65 minutes - until Karoline Leavitt abruptly ended it with seconds to spare.
Traders on the NO side made 50x in seconds.
An AI company in my industry raised money and used a ton of that money to buy a Services company (to slap AI on it). After purchase, AI company ran an immediate press tour on their massive revenue growth and charted themselves next to OpenAI, Lovable, and others as fastest growing AI companies.
lol
@nickgerli1 Underneath that “opportunity” are hundreds of thousands of new homeowners who bought in 22-24 and will now be underwater for years or decades to come.
@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp
Your “support” team’s efforts are unacceptable.
In LA visiting family and decide to split for a few days for a staycation. Find an okay place, message the host and clearly ask:
“Hi XYZ! I’d like to book but I need to confirm a few things with my wife. Would you be open to having a refund policy if I refund within 12 hours? I should know 100% by this evening. Thank you.”
They respond: “Hi Blair! Yes thats okay re: 12 hour refund :)”
So I book. Not even 3 hours later, I notify them I’ll have to cancel, and I ask them how to proceed. They tell me to cancel the reservation, and start playing dumb / acting confused about what to do. They tell me to cancel immediately “as the calendar is blocked and nobody will be able to book it.”
Mind you this is a same day reservation that I had booked for not even 3 hours.
So I play along and cancel it. I ask them to finalize it from their end and confirm.
Then, they go dark. For days. No response.
I open up a case with AirBnB. They take me through an endless loop of various versions of “we are reaching out to the host and waiting for them to confirm.”
Eventually, they ask me for screenshots of the host confirming the refund. I immediately send it. It doesn’t help at all.
“I fully understand the situation. Typically, refunds are processed with the Host's approval. Could you please give me a little time to look into this and I will get back to you shortly with what can be done?”
I ask them - what do you mean “what can be done?”
“I have reached out to the host. Be patient.”
What? It’s very obvious the host is intentionally dodging this in attempt to collect the money.
“I understand that this has already taken longer than expected, and I empathize with the frustration you're experiencing. Let's wait and see what happens next.”
Wait and see what happens next?
An absolute joke of a company. An absolute joke of a “support” team.!
@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp - get me out of this nonsense, or you’re not going to like what happens next.
By age 30 you should have:
• A budget
• A Roth IRA
• Term life insurance
• $0 credit card debt
• A 3-6 month emergency fund
• At least two streams of income
• A HSA (health savings account)
• Basic knowledge of personal finance
What would you add?
The employees or contractors Q is particularly hilarious. Every human being LOVES working with no job security or health and wellness benefits.
Also anyone who thinks the Philippines is good for just “VAs” is hopelessly lost.
I’d love to see the average tenure of this guys hires.
