Random question…. how do brands selling sex toys actually scale online?
Meta and Google obviously have restrictions around advertising them, so where does customer acquisition at scale come from? SEO, influencers, affiliates, marketplaces, organic?
Genuinely curious what the growth playbook looks like for brands doing serious volume in this category.
Bhaiya first of all, you should never start an apparel business. But if you accidentally do, please don’t run Meta ads until you’ve done at least 100k organic orders. First establish the brand organically, build a community, get people talking about you, become a household name, maybe open 20-30 stores, get a celebrity to wear your clothes, and only then even think about touching Meta ads.
Meta ads are extremely dangerous and obviously loss making for beginners.
Real brands should establish organically for a few years first. Then they should start to think to give Zuckerberg their money. Everyone here should follow @Ajain112 bhai’s advice.
I disagree with Arjan here. Everyone should run organic content, specially in the womens apparel space. If you cannot generate 10k orders organic, I think u should never start meta ads.
@arya_rachita Yeah, I think this only works if you capture the raw, unscripted reactions of the interviewee. The awkwardness, surprise, laughter etc is literally the content.
AI will kill the exact thing that makes this format work.
I have an idea, has anyone tried street interview style ads outside colleges, offices, etc?
Give people a product for free, ask a few fun questions, capture genuine reactions.
The format clearly works for organic content… Curious if anyone has managed to make it work for paid ads too??
