52 years on, #Cyprus remains divided.

Today, we honour the memory of those who gave their lives, remember the missing, and stand with all those who continue to bear the consequences of the Turkish invasion and the island's continued division.

The Cyprus issue remains an international issue of unlawful invasion and occupation. Greece remains steadfast, in close coordination with the Republic of Cyprus, in its commitment to a comprehensive settlement on the basis of a Bizonal, Bicommunal Federation, in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions and international law.

We continue to support the efforts of the @uncsecgen towards the resumption of negotiations and the reunification of Cyprus.
