@larsinthewoods@xevekiah that’s like saying a child who was rapes had no right to speak up when she or he is an adult and can fully understand/comprehend what happened to them. may you and the women in your life never have to be a victim of rape. and if so i’d call that karma.
I took my sick 7 year old niece to the hospital. The male doctor who knew my sister worked there, made an inappropriate comment about my niece’s body and said " she is thick, she'd get good curves in future" Shocked and angry, I confronted him. He became defensive and refused to examine her, and we were sent home without care. I reported the incident. Instead of accountability, the hospital sided with him, and my sister lost her job. Don't tell me medical misogyny is just a myth!
i realized that a lot of adults are healing their inner child and that's one of the reasons why i don't make fun of people who have "childish" hobbies. Some people didn't get to have a childhood until they became adults.
@fraxiommusic it could be worse though. you could be homeless, jobless, no family, no friends, no one to call on, no one who cares, no one who’s willing to help. so some advice for you, you want better? DO BETTER. you’re in charge of your life at the end of the day.
I’m grown enough to admit I’m not the easiest person to love. Life put me through a lot, so yeah… I overthink, I get triggered quick, I shut down, and sometimes I don’t even make sense. I’m sensitive as hell and I need patience.
But one thing about me? My love is REAL.
