What will it take for Africa’s development agenda to deliver lasting change?

From my work with UNDP, one lesson stands out. Sustainable development requires both a clear vision and effective execution.

It involved stakeholder discussions under the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative to the launch of the VCF System at Kitgum High Court and supporting girls through the Girls for Climate Action Initiative. This was a rewarding experience to witness community-driven impact in action.

Field mission week with UNDP in Northern Uganda, Gulu and Kitgum to be precise.

I had the opportunity to join the Governance, Peace and Security (GPS) unit on engagements focused on access to justice, gender-based violence prevention, and youth empowerment.
