This is z from trans voice lessons. Her YouTube videos really helped me get started to understand all the aspects of vocal training.

In addition to this I recorded myself with audacity (free audio recording software) reading a paragraph (doesn't matter what just make sure it's around 5 mins long and the same paragraph every time) to record my progress.

I did the training daily but practiced throughout the day everyday. (I looked like a crazy person and developed vocal stims).

If you believe that US-backed regime change in Venezuela will turn the country into a "beacon of liberty" you're historically illiterate.

First of all there's a long and well-documented history of US-led regime change in Latin America and the end result in the overwhelming majority of the cases is ruthless military dictatorships (Chile with Pinochet, Guatemala with Carlos Castillo Armas and later Efraín Ríos Montt, Brazil with 21 years of military rule under generals like Castelo Branco and Médici, Argentina with Jorge Rafael Videla's junta, Bolivia with Hugo Banzer's dictatorship, etc.) Which is the most liberticide type of regime on earth.

Secondly, the U.S. is pursuing regime change in Venezuela precisely to PREVENT liberty, and they aren't even hiding it.

Liberty in the context of a nation is, by definition, self-determination and control over one's own resources. That is why the country was carved in two to prevent democracy, not defend it.

You call our president Hồ Chí Minh a "brutal scourge."

Your CIA called him "the George Washington of Vietnam."

The only thing dangerous about him was that he wanted a Vietnam not ruled by France, Japan, or America.

You lost a war you cannot psychologically accept losing, so you rewrite it as a morality play where America tried to save a "good" Vietnam from a "bad" one.

I'm incredibly insecure about my voice.

I grew up playing games and I used them as a form of escapism, since I got gender euphoria from being seen as a woman. However, anytime I spoke it "broke the illusion" and made me feel miserable.

When I learned I was trans and came out online, things didn't change because of my voice. I still got misgendered, since people naturally use he/him pronouns when hearing a more masc voice. This made me feel awful and I entirely blamed myself for it.

I used to play FPS games like CoD and OW competitively in teams and I always wanted to join women's teams in order to feel somewhat normal and have a sense of belonging, but I was scared of rejection because of me being trans and having a non-passing voice.

Nowadays, when playing Valorant and I'm in an all-girls lobby, I have insane amounts of dysphoria and imposter syndrome because of my voice.

I feel incredibly guilty when my friends correct others, like it's my fault for not "putting in enough effort" to figure out voice training.

Meanwhile, I spent thousands of € over the past 2 years on professional voice lessons because I couldn't figure out how to get a passing voice in the last 10+ years.

I made a lot of progress but I still get misgendered, which obviously makes me even more insecure about it.

Voice training is hard and I haven't found a moment where it just clicks. I also don't know if I'll ever get to this point since there are so many aspects to someone's voice.

Even my accent alone drastically influences the way that I sound.

It is frustrating that this is still something that I need to deal with and it makes imposter syndrome so much worse.

The fact that I even *have to* voice train makes me feel like I have to change myself in order to fit the societal expectations of "what women should sound like," causing a lot of dysphoria.

The damage that going through male puberty has caused me was entirely preventable and I wish I had access to trans healthcare when I was a kid.
