Earlier this month, @Pontifex met with seminarians at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. Twenty-seven of the seminarians, including these young men from the @dio_nash, are from 16 Extension dioceses. Many receive scholarship support thanks to funding from our donors!

Late yesterday afternoon, Fr. Joe Pat Breen passed away at age 87 after an extended illness. I anointed him and gave the Apostolic pardon last week during a grace-filled visit. We pray for the repose of Fr. Breen’s soul and the comfort and consolation of his family.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
