the largest skin bank in the world is in israel, and the skin being transplanted there is that of palestinians, particularly those killed in prisons. the reason israelis get skin diseases and need skin grafts in the first place is because they arent native to the middle east.
Fatima Hassouna, a renowned Palestinian artist and photojournalist, has been killed by an Israeli air strike.
She died with nine members of her family in a direct strike on their home in Gaza.
Hassouna appears in Sepideh Farsi’s documentary ‘PUT YOUR SOUL ON YOUR HAND AND WALK,’ which is set to premiere at Cannes ACID this May.
Hassouna was killed just 24 hours after the film’s Cannes premiere was announced.

This was in 2021... and she died in today's strikes. How can anyone watch this without being overwhelmed with grief and anger for what has been done to the Palestinians for decades.
The massacres in Gaza have not stopped💔. The war is back and more intense than before. There is no food to eat. The prices are very high.Last donation a day ago 😓 We need you, We do not want to suffer again.

It has NOT stopped. The occupation is heavily shelling multiple parts of the Strip & directly targeting people attempting to return to their homes.
Israel will likely violate the ceasefire, and will exploit its loopholes, and will continue ethnic cleansing in the West Bank, and will continue violating international law. This should serve daily as a reminder to us all, that there is no peace without liberation.
please don't "move on" from Palestine. Find joy in the ceasefire. But Palestine is not yet free. and thousands did not lose their lives just for a return to the status quo.
love how the reporter starts taking off his press gear as he announces a ceasefire agreement and the crowd erupts in cheers as they help him take his jacket off and one of the guys puts him on his shoulders to celebrate 😭
🧵 A friend in Gaza told me “The first thing I will do after the ceasefire is go to my mother’s grave and share the news with her. I wish she were here with me in this moment.”
