If you are anywhere in Australia where Steve 'n' Seagulls are touring this week, go & see them!
An incredibly fun, brilliant, exhilarating show. Love them. A wave of musical joy.
Thank you!

The unlikeliest thing has happened.
I made it to 40 years of life.
Highly likely this will be celebrated with the George Kennedy narrated documentary, The Jupiter Menace, which is 41 years old. Oh how we have both aged.
Seeing Girl In Red live was amazing. Had a weird moment where she sounded like Iggy, & how amazing would her songs covered by Iggy Pop be. She has such a raw, perfect emotional pop soul, & they would be perfect together. Not better, but a soul art partner. @IggyPop@_girlinred_
@atarbuck Exploring the many corridors & communities & insanities of punk music. Lots of threads connecting, & I follow in reconnection (work in progress).
It's so fucking predictable of this world that Cecil B Demented & A Dirty Shame are still not remastered & on blu. Dual assaults on 20th century propaganda cycles. Duo masterpieces of remixed revolution. Ecstasy & Ends.
John Waters' most abandoned, which is our failure not his.
Good. Well deserved. Akerman is incredible. Also, Jeanne Dielman is definitely a horror film. Especially if you watched it in the midst of the first lockdown as I did.

Made up a word & a playlist for my neurodivergent cathartic positive emotional musical rollercoaster.

@BeingCharisBlog Thank you, this is very helpful as my brain is terrible at retrieving random data (as required in appropriate context). These are all the things I struggle to remember when having to present personal evidence but 100% know most of these experiences inside myself.
Exploring the various bands at #GoodThings & I feel so seen. Now very much looking forward to an early start with @TeenageJoans.

GARTH MARENGHI’S TERRORTOME is one of @FT’s Top Five Science Fiction Novels of 2022. A genre-bending, boundary-breaking work that is *technically* Horrotica. https://t.co/wLTNYZHfX8
Apparently the @abcaustralia or @ABCIndigenous was recording First & Forever at Hanging Rock which is great. But I'd love to read a review that gives me some insights into the full spectrum of what I experienced on Sunday. @guardian is too busy reviewing Nick Cave apparently.
When my new housemates keep asking me EVERY DAY I have the same internal dialogue of whether ignoring the question, answering it truthfully, or fudging an acceptable answer is rudest.
I think I alternate on no discernible pattern.
Be warned that when asking an autistic person how they are, there is a strong risk they might actually tell you. Some of us have a reflex response of (or along the lines of) “good, thank you, you?” that we release however we feel, but some of us are programmed to answer honestly.
Epic congrats to @KingStingray2 for a brilliant last set of the first First & Forever day. 1st time hearing & seeing hear them. Definitely deserving of that inaugural Michael Gudinski Aria award.
In presence & sound they brought it all together. Ngannelong's energy sang with them
Amazing day at First & Forever at Hanging Rock. Awesome musicians. The energy was off the charts for so many powerful reasons. An important day in Australian history. Will definitely be back next year!
Thank you @Briggs & @MushroomGroup & everyone! #FirstAndForever
