At @weareflod, we designed a full automotive HMI study: car, interior, cluster, main display, and a companion app plugged into a real manufacturer's API.
@rive_app was key to bringing it all to life. Joysticks and blend states for the cluster gauges, solos for a pre-rendered @Blender navigation scene, state machine inputs tying the whole prototype together. The depth of what you can build with Rive still surprises us.

We just won 1st place at the Rive Vehicle HMI Challenge🔥
Insane jury, insane submissions, still can't believe it!
Huge thanks to @rive_app, @contrahq and the jury: @guidorosso, @JohnnyMotion, Helmut Klinger-Emmerdinger
I guess now we really need to build this car!🚀
@LinusEkenstam Built a motorsport app I always wanted. A quick way to check when the next race is, who won the last one, current standings, and even follow positions live during F1 sessions. No ads, no clutter, just data. https://t.co/SSYmoQuoOY

@sadek I właśnie dlatego mimo wszystkich update'ów od Anthropic nadal używam OpenClaw. Jeden prompt i można działać na innym modelu bez tracenia postępów😀
Loved Destiny 1. What made it special was that it had enough story and world-building to appeal to solo players too, even though it was an online game. But what they did to Destiny 2 and how they monetize their games now is just not for me.
Marathon continues that trend by completely ignoring solo players. I feel like Bungie, by chasing live-service games, keeps ignoring the fact that they built a huge part of their audience on games that appealed to solo players too. The real irony is that Marathon itself was originally a single player game back in the 90s, and now its reboot doesn’t care about solo players at all.

@vanschneider Yep, social media algorithms favor tellers far more than doers. I started by building https://t.co/SSYmoQuoOY instead of pasting example prompts from X, but I really don't want to share it the way AI nudges me to. I tried it at first, but it just doesn't feel right.
@vanschneider The best designers spend more time on what to remove than what to add. I think this will be even more important now that you can add new features in no time.
Nobody's running their display at 1000 nits full white all the time. That's peak brightness, not your everyday setting. The point is having the headroom so when you do have sunlight hitting your screen, the image stays readable and colors stay accurate without cranking everything to the max.
