@sytsema_andy Excuse me if I am wrong, but there seems to be a coordinates effort to overthrow the government from multiple “organizations” all at once… who’s funding?
@johnsemalhuis@ikwilson A good question to ask yourself is, “if Alberta is to join Canada now under the current terms -unfair representation, oppressive economic policies, censorship, equalization payments-, would it benefit Alberta?”
@cameronnight11@lesliekorn@ABDanielleSmith You see, there are plenty of jobs in private sector that require “unpaid” hours of work. Corporate workers, engineers, researchers, healthcare workers… I know many who work “overtime” without overtime pay to get the job done, myself included - it’s part of the job description.
@LammersFairy@KirkLubimov Either you are clueless about how this works, or you were greatly misled by Lukaszuk. He filed it as a proposal for referendum, which comes with a yes/no binary question, and you just gave him the signatures to trigger the referendum.
@LukaszukAB If I had a working brain but was delusioned enough to belong to the forever-shackled herd mentality, and thought the independence was truly a fringe movement, I would have let them collect signatures on their side. The last thing I would do is help call the referendum.
@DrSautner@ikwilson I directly heard from a canvasser that APP was trying to make Alberta the 51st state. Misrepresentation and misleading. She also spewed a lot of hateful, violent things about fellow Albertans (like wanting to physically hurt the independence supporters). Shows the true colours.
@Hyperbolob@John1MD I am sure College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta would love to have a little chit-chat with this guy about ethics code if they hear about it.
@John1MD Sounds like you are fine with abusing your medical authority for a personal political agenda. I’m pretty sure that goes against your ethics code. Let me see how I can file a report to your college…
