Following meetings in Sarajevo, @EUCouncil #COWEB delegation travelled to Mostar & Banja Luka for exchanges with political actors on the situation in BiH & EU path.

They reaffirmed EU’s consistent support, while stressing BiH needs to take steps to fully use opportunities.🇪🇺🇧🇦

Glad to welcome today to Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 the @EUCouncil’s Working Party on the Western Balkans Region (#COWEB) and brief them on the current state of play in the country and its progress on the EU path. Pleased also to participate in the briefing at @euforbih given by Commander Major General Fronda.

Over the next three days, in Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka, the representatives of the 27 EU member states sitting in COWEB will meet with a diverse range of political and civil society stakeholders to deepen their understanding of the political and security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The visit will help shape the EU's approach to BiH in future Council sessions.
