Constructive meetings today between the @EUCouncil Working Party on the Western Balkans Region (#COWEB) and BiH political actors, including Chairwoman of the BiH Council of Ministers @KristoBorjana, the Joint Collegiums of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, and FBiH Prime Minister @NiksicN and representatives of the FBiH government.
The EU path remains the best guarantee of prosperity and stability for BiH. The benefits of progress, including investment under the Growth Plan were emphasised during the meetings.
The majority of BiH citizens wish to see their country join the EU. It is crucial that BiH authorities act to use all available opportunities.

Glad to welcome today to Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 the @EUCouncil’s Working Party on the Western Balkans Region (#COWEB) and brief them on the current state of play in the country and its progress on the EU path. Pleased also to participate in the briefing at @euforbih given by Commander Major General Fronda.
Over the next three days, in Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka, the representatives of the 27 EU member states sitting in COWEB will meet with a diverse range of political and civil society stakeholders to deepen their understanding of the political and security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The visit will help shape the EU's approach to BiH in future Council sessions.

Today in Brussels, I met with #COWEB to reaffirm 🇧🇦’s strong commitment to 🇪🇺 path. The focus was on accelerating key reforms and strengthening regional cooperation.I also met with EEAS Deputy Managing Director @EGiaufretEU to advance concrete steps to deepen EU–BiH cooperation.
The three-day visit to BiH of the @EUCouncil's #COWEB delegation concluded in #BanjaLuka with exchanges with political actors, analysts, media & civil society.
They discussed the current political situation as well as specific challenges faced by media and civil society in RS.
Today at 🇧🇦Camp Butmir, the 🇪🇺 #EUFOR command team welcomed the @EUCouncil’s Working Party on the Western Balkans Region (#COWEB).
In a dynamic static display, the 🇪🇺MNBN and AvDet showcased EUFOR’s assets and offered the COWED a chance to engage directly with our soldiers.

Yesterday and today the #COWEB delegates have had a number of important exchanges that will contribute to shaping decisions taken by 🇪🇺 Member States in Brussels. Meetings have included discussions with 🇧🇦 Foreign Minister @DinoKonakovic, 🇧🇦 Presidency advisors, political party leaders and other political actors, govt. officials, @euforbih, and representatives of the international community in Sarajevo.
The EU and its Member States remain loyal partners and committed to supporting BiH on its path to EU accession.
