@DanielSmidstrup Yeah, that messy middle is the hardest part to post. Once it actually works, everyone forgets how rough the first version looked.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@cheaf25master Customer support is the one that always gets me. You can build all day, but answering the same question at midnight hits different.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@patrick_kuhnke_ Marketer, honestly. If you can already build it yourself, the bottleneck is getting people to actually see it.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@fahnx8 Exactly right. A clear note on what to fix helps the builder a lot more than a lecture about how it should have been made.

what are you shipping this week?

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@brainstormity That makes sense, starting with the ones you already use is the smoothest way in.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@AKirtesh Mostly Jenkins and Travis on a server somewhere, plus a lot of hope. Actions just made it so you didn't have to babysit the build yourself.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@0x_Flexx Honestly the quiet ones are usually the interesting ones. What kind of build are you hoping people drop in here, a tool, a side project, or something totally weird?

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@samtwtss A teaser page is a smart move before the full site. What are you using the early signups for, just a launch list or actual feedback?

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@CiprianiRanieri I'd build the app store before the app store existed, basically. A tiny tool for that brand-new iPhone, while nobody else is even thinking about mobile yet.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@SamVale29 With six months of runway, I'd take the seller. You can ship fast yourself for a while, but you can't conjure customers out of code.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@b4dgerr Introverts win on focus, extroverts win on talking to users. As a solo founder, I'd bet on the one who actually gets out and sells.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@SebKoning Worth it if the new UI makes the value clearer at a glance. SEO usually recovers, a confusing first screen doesn't fix itself.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@TTrimoreau I think people keep paying until the bill hurts more than the convenience helps. For a solo dev that tipping point comes pretty fast though.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@faqdev Exactly, cloning is the easy demo. Getting someone to come back on Tuesday is the actual product.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@Sperra_Richy Sounds good, I will keep an eye out for it.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

what did you build this week that nobody asked for?
show me yours, i'll show you mine

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@mathiasonea @marclou That is the part that stays with you. Failing that often and still going is what makes it work in the end.

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@Sperra_Richy haha cool, show me when it's ready

[Divyansh Bhatt @divyanshbht]

@atul7107 @poonam_twtt Yah. I think so
