U.S. statewide JULY high temperature records.

40 (80% of) U.S. states set their “all-time” statewide July high temperature records before 1955; 11 of those were set in 1936 alone. Five states set theirs in 1930.

California's record of 134°F in Death Valley remains the official statewide, U.S. national, and worldwide “all-time” record high temperature for all months, although its authenticity has been challenged.

You’re correct. So there are a couple possibilities for posting this. Engagement for the purposes of staying relevant and making money - not sure how that technically works. Second, because it’s a sincere thought and that’s where it ends. In the former case, shame on her. In the latter case, ok, but that’s not the logical end to th scenario, if you’ve paid attention to Trump. The likely outcome is that he speaks of invasion with a goal of settling to a purchase or other agreement to be able to access Greenland more fully, to take advantage of resources or be able to establish more defense capabilities for this country. Naive to think otherwise at this point.

@ChuckGafvert @CollinRugg How about this: use lines of latitude. Start at the north end of a state that has 5 reps, drop a latitudinal line once 20% of the population of the state is above that line. Repeat 3 more times. Done.
