@kirEkelliher I just learned the word ‘pariurban’ in a book yesterday. I think it could have worked here. Also, make sure you use seeds of perennial crops. They have deeper roots, and hold more moisture and carbon than your typical annual crops. Throw in a solar farm on top of that too!

Some will, but a fraction and far too late. Again, why not put the $ direct into green infrastructure/energy projects in areas where is needed most? Legit question.
