Service sector usually means the part of the economy that produces intangible goods and services rather than physical products

@07Maggi@Sainburyscs@sainsburys Depends on the location and the facilities in the store. Could be very easy to spend two hours if you're doing a shop, using the pharmacy, Argos, having a meal in the café, trying on clothes and looking at the new phones.
In 1995 the government released plans to build a tunnel under Stonehenge for the A303. It was to cost about £180m.
After a public enquiry, several legal challenges, multiple relaunches and revisions, the project was finally cancelled in 2024.
The cost to the taxpayer? Around £180m. We spent the original projected cost on not building the tunnel.
I understand the argument but I'm on a (virtual) provider with no price rises at all. I have had the same rolling monthly contract for ten years now and I don't understand how they make any money on it but I'm very grateful nonetheless.
