Actually, individualism has been advancing steadily since Christianity taught the world the equal worth of each one. We are experiencing the practical limits thereof, including being ruled by 3,000 tyrants one mile away rather than 1 tyrant 3,000 miles away. But the blessings of liberty are real. It is why people still risk their lives to come here. But moral license curses.
Not if nationalism means elevating one population group over everyone else born and living peaceably in the neighborhood of these United States. There is no point of discussion OT "nations" except to make blood a test of citizenship in the modern state.
BTW, in my Bible, all the nations rage against the King.
@FBSaunders@JayCollinsFL 46% in a negative push poll is pretty dominating for Donalds. And Fishy's polls say HE has the 30% second place. Maybe sue each other again over second place?
@JimRosicaFL@PhillyInquirer NDA's should be prohibitted from withholding information from licensing boards. Without legislation, it should be considered an unprofessional practice to contract against reporting.
@danborvan Of course, the Second Inaugural Address is engraved on the side walls explaining how both sides worshipped the same God, neither curious enough whether He was on their side, and also respecting the price to be justly paid for mistreating human beings.
It's not reassuring that a Unitarian and Deist agreed on the "general principles" of Christianity, though not the substitutionary atonement of the Eternal Son.
At least in the 1783 Paris Treaty, the King acknowledged U.S. independence: "in the Name of the Most Holy and Undivided Trinity". Probably made Adams blush to think about it.
at 10 cents a page that is almost 6K without any redacting work. Methinks they should negotiate for a smaller set of documents. Reasonable costs means that the taxpayers don't have to pay for third parties' fishing expeditions. You guys get better treatment than the sunshine law requires. Not that there is anything wrong with that. ;-)
@HansMahncke Those guys predicted pandemics every year for decades. They planned for them and were always bored for lack of them. They just wanted to be relevant. They didn't want anyone to be hurt.
But to support our enemies dabbling in gain of function? That is diabolical.
