शाळेसंबंधी आतापर्यंत पाहिलेल्या सर्व चित्रपटात फक्त फुललेल्या प्रेमकथाच पहिल्यात, पण शाळेने केलेले संस्कार, घडवलेली माणसं पहिल्यांदा पडद्यावर आणली ती #क्रांतीज्योती या चित्रपटाने.

मी यापूर्वीही हे सांगितलेलं आहे की मी काही चित्रपट,नाट्य समीक्षक नाही. एखादं नाटक, एखादा चित्रपट पाहताना आपले ताणतणाव विसरले जावून ती कलाकृती पाहण्यात आपण तल्लीन होऊन जाणं हे मला त्या चित्रपट,नाटकाचं यश वाटतं. 'क्रांतीज्योती विद्यालय - मराठी माध्यम' हा हेमंत ढोमे लिखित,दिग्दर्शित चित्रपट तसाच आहे.

धर्मांधता आणि राजकीय प्रॉपगॅन्डा पसरवणाऱ्या कलाकृतींचा सध्याचा काळ आहे. इतिहासाचा, स्वातंत्र्य आंदोलनाचा विपर्यास करणाऱ्या कलाकृतींचा हा काळ आहे. देशासाठी झिजलेल्या प्रामाणिक नेत्यांवर प्रश्नचिन्ह उभे करणाऱ्या,त्यांना अवमानित करणाऱ्या सुपारीबाज निर्माते,दिग्दर्शक आणि अभिनेत्यांचा सध्या सुकाळ आहे. आणि अशा वेळी आपल्या मरू घातलेल्या मराठी भाषेविषयी, मरू घातलेल्या आपल्या मराठी शाळांविषयी, या विषयाबाबत आपल्या मनातील औदासिन्याविषयी अत्यंत प्रभावीपणे भाष्य करणारा आणि आपल्या सगळ्यांना भानावर आणणारा हा 'क्रांतीज्योती विद्यालय - मराठी माध्यम' चित्रपट आहे. महत्वाचं म्हणजे या महत्वाच्या विषयावर मर्मभेदी भाष्य करणारा हा चित्रपट कुठेही प्रचारकी थाटाचा अजिबात नाही. पडद्यावर कोकणातील अप्रतिम सौंदर्य पाहताना आपलं भान हरपून जातं. यातील आगळी गाणी आणि संगीत ऐकताना आपल्याही नकळत आपण ठेका धरतो. सचिन खेडेकर,अमेय वाघ,प्राजक्ता कोळी,चिन्मयी सुमित, सिद्धार्थ चांदेकर,क्षिति जोग आदी सगळ्याच अभिनेत्यांनी आपापल्या भूमिका अक्षरशः जगल्यात. जोडीला आगरी भाषेचा भन्नाट स्वाद यात आहे.

कोणत्याही अन्य भाषेवर टीका नाही. कोणत्याही परप्रांतीयांवर टीका टिपण्णी नाही. फक्त आपण तमाम मराठी लोक मागील काही वर्षांपासून कुठे चुकतोय आणि काय व्हायला हवंय याबाबत या चित्रपटाचं कथानक सशक्तपणे आणि परिणामकारक भाष्य करतं. आपल्या मायमराठी मातृभाषेतून शिक्षण घेऊन सुद्धा विविध क्षेत्रात जागतिक कीर्ती मिळवलेल्या असंख्य थोरांची नावे आणि फोटो चित्रपटाच्या शेवटी पडद्यावर झळकायला सुरुवात होते, ती पाहताना आपल्या मस्तिष्कात आत आपोआपच आत्मचिंतन सुरु होतं. त्याच भारलेल्या अवस्थेत आपण चित्रपटगृहा बाहेर पडतो.

या महत्वपूर्ण चित्रपटाची सुरुवात तर दमदार झालीये. मी आमच्या ठाण्यात काल संध्याकाळी कुटुंबासह विवियानाला तो पाहिला तेव्हा शो हाऊसफुल्ल होता. आपल्या मायमराठीवर प्रेम असणाऱ्या प्रत्येकाने हा चित्रपट अवश्य पहावा.

The behaviour of the SBI Branch Manager in Surya Nagara, Anekal Taluk refusing to speak in Kannada & English and showing disregard to citizens, is strongly condemnable.

We appreciate SBI’s swift action in transferring the official. The matter may now be treated as closed.

However, such incidents must not recur. All bank employees must treat customers with dignity and make every effort to speak in the local language.

I urge the @FinMinIndia & Dept of Financial Services to mandate cultural and language sensitisation training for all bank staff across India. Respecting local language is respecting the people.
