@FFXI_EN Bahamut used to support 3-4k+ daily concurrent users back in the day but you guys change to infra that's supposed to be better for the game as a whole and now we get to hear how 2k concurrent users are too much for an mmo. How are the players supposed to make sense of that?
@doqholliday@Polarstar79 Hamilton was the one who recommended Washington show up with force during the whiskey rebellion. He was also very pro-central bank, pro-monarchy (just so long as he was near the source of power), and the key architect in replacing the articles of confederation
@financedystop If I recall, red light cameras were fought in some jurisdictions by pointing at law that says tickets must be issued by LEO's and an automated system is insufficient or something like that
@junhoBTC your sim still isn't considering equatorial bulge from tidal force, wind sheer force acting on the water, existing angular momentum of both the water and the wind. These aren't mundane details in regards to simulating the physics of a TPW.
@junhoBTC if anyone takes ECDO at face value, there is no survival. You're talking worldwide wind shear and ocean-mass-as-projectiles at mach 2, with leading compression waves, intense aft cavitation. The only life remaining would be microbial or some kind of extremophile.
@Areez22 You do? If I did at all, it wouldn't be in the nature of physics that ECDO describes (chaotic/fast). For the ancient monuments that tracked celestial objects, some over 10k years old, to still be in alignment would mean <2Β° change in orientation since they were built.
@turbinekitty@CrazyCloud@LaNativePatriot are you blind, a bot, or just retarded? He flips his bike slamming on his front brakes to try and stop in the middle of the intersection and avoid colliding with the car.
@AureliusTrades@junhoBTC There's nothing to hand out. It's cartoon physics sold as real science and naive people eat it up. ECDO ignores all those things I mentioned and more to build its dramatic conclusion.
@Isabelletkrause Pretty smug video when there's a lack of biblical support to suggest premarital sex is sinful. Dig beyond pop culture Christian understanding and read scripture.
@Isabelletkrause@Duzman11 counter-counterpoint: it's actually not. The bible says sex creates obligations which can include marriage. The biblical sin category is pornea, a broad term covering prostitution ("fornication"), incest, cult sex, etc - but not premarital sex.
