Frankly, I find it extraordinary that a statement about protecting Indian civilian sailors is being twisted into a partisan political controversy.

Three Indians lost their lives. My remarks were about the safety of our citizens and the principle that civilian seafarers should never be targets of military action. If some people are more interested in scoring political points than addressing that concern, that says more about them than it does about me.

Concern for Indian lives should unite us, not divide us.

महाराष्ट्र पोलिस दलाच्या आधुनिकीकरणासाठी केंद्र सरकारने 733.28 कोटी रुपयांची योजना मंजूर केली आहे.
या योजनेत 60 टक्के निधी केंद्र सरकार तर 40 टक्के निधी राज्य सरकार देईल.
महाराष्ट्र पोलिस दलासाठी इतका मोठा निधी मंजूर केल्याबद्दल मी मा. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदीजी आणि मा. केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमितभाई शहा यांचा अतिशय मनापासून आभारी आहे !
सागरी सुरक्षा, ड्रग्जविरोधी मोहीम, सायबर सुरक्षा, एआय तंत्रज्ञानाचा अधिक वापर, नागरिकांची सुरक्षा, आधुनिक शस्त्र, वाहने अशा अनेक दृष्टीने महाराष्ट्र पोलिस दल अधिक सुसज्ज करणे यातून शक्य होणार आहे.

आज खेत में धान रोपाई की आधुनिक मशीन का प्रदर्शन देखा।

यह मशीन कम समय में धान की रोपाई करती है। पौधे बराबर दूरी और सही गहराई पर लगते हैं, जिससे पौधों का विकास बेहतर होता है। 10-15 दिन के युवा पौधों की रोपाई संभव होने से अधिक कल्ले निकलते हैं और उत्पादन बढ़ने की संभावना भी बढ़ जाती है।
लाइन से रोपाई होने के कारण खेत में हवा का आवागमन अच्छा रहता है, जिससे रोगों का प्रकोप भी कम होता है।

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?

Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?

Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?

This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.
