ઈ-બસ નવી, પણ હાલાકી જૂની!

વડોદરામાં નવી સિટી ઈ-બસોની શરૂઆત વચ્ચે જૂની સિટી બસોમાં ઓવરલોડિંગનો કકળાટ યથાવત! સ��ટેશન-કેલનપુર રૂટની બસમાં ક્ષમતા કરતાં વધુ મુસાફરો ભરાતા રાવપુરા પાસે મુસાફરોએ બસ રોકીને હોબાળો મચાવ્યો.

મહિલા મુસાફરે પણ બસ સેવાની કામગીરી સામે નારાજગી વ્યક્ત કરી. ટ્રાફિક અને RTO નિયમોની અવગણના વચ્ચે મુસાફરોની સુરક્ષા સામે સવાલો ઊભા થયા છે.

Fate based thought process says,it's his bad time etc.
But can we or the authorities prevent it using engineering?
Yes,we can eliminate risk by using a raised footpath with bollards etc
That will reduce the chance of such crashes !
We are treating the incompetence of someone as luck.
If someone did their job properly,we can eliminate the risk and reduce dependency on luck !
By using scientific methods,we reduce the chance of such crashes!
As long as we keep focusing on being lucky,we can't reduce risk as outcomes are not in our control.
We have to eliminate risk by controlling the known risks and we cannot do anything for unknown risks like - what if lightning strikes him? We cannot do anything there.
But those are very rare risks.
