@TheMugNHL For those 40-60 regular season games a season, sure. I struggle to call him elite, at least until he puts up more points in a season than Nugent-Hopkins’ best.
@mathewjdp@curddle Hyman was unreal in the 25 run until his injury. He was leading the tourney in hits and was excellent on the forecheck. I think you can clear some space for him in your list. I’d add Nurse, too. His productivity is good, and he can be nasty. Agree on Podk not making it yet.
@bouchbombs Interesting thought. Podkolzin, though, is still young, has the better draft pedigree (10 overall vs 31) and is the far hotter hand (16% shooting % vs 7%).
I’m fine w/Podk getting the look, he’s earned it. I’d like to see some more time carved out for PP2, with Howard featuring
@travissram @Grippo_Rico @domluszczyszyn I’d be curious to see if/how odds-setters in Vegas deviate from Dom’s approach. Det’s xGF is 53% in the 20 games w/McLellan vs 47% before.
There is no “coach” variable, but weighting recent games and normalizing for roster changes are tools that are available.
@m_elek@andrew_leach There are over 100 regional gas specs across North America. More efficient to send crude as a base feedstock and process locally for state/province reqts.
@andrew_leach Agreed - at least reference the covid spike, even if they feel it was irregular! What should we view as the expected “structural” unemployment level in Canada? Is there such a thing anymore?
@NHL_Sid Less so this year than in the past, but take a look at zone starts. Plotting Nurse’s xGF vs TOI against the rest of the league can paint a different picture.
@ToewsWenda@SeanAPereira @Jay_Baldonado Curious use of travel cost. If you considered the geographic spread of MPs, and divided these costs by KMs from their constituency to Ottawa, I think you’d see a very different picture emerge.
Positive news about an LNG plant approved and under construction! Great partnership at work @eaglelng and @CrowleyMaritime. #lngformarine https://t.co/AVeHymjYFv
