Unless we're willing to pick a single culture & period and say "they got it right", we must assume that social norms are part of femininity.

When women didn't have that choice, they were slaves to their husbands: they were required to do the work, they didn't get paid, and they couldn't leave.

1-There just isn't enough time to handle each issue separately.
2-Less popular issues are put into must-pass bills to get them through.
3-Impossible issues are put into popular bills to stop them

Anti-abortion groups chipped away at it until women in many states couldn't access abortion even if it was theoretically legal. And even that wasn't enough.

The people actually writing anti-abortion laws are not reasonable people acting in good faith.

Sometimes birth control fails.
Layoffs and job losses happen.
Other children might need additional care.
Some women develop diseases where the treatment is incompatible with pregnancy.

I have heard her say she wants to codify Roe v Wade into law. That would allow limits in the third trimester as long as life and health exceptions are preserved.

20 & 26 weeks are all less than 36, so the answer is "No."

"How many weeks should abortion be allowed?" is a worthwhile but separate discussion. And we need to stop the BS & hyperbole first.

I have heard variations of "drs only perform abortions after 24 weeks for "legitimate" reasons, so we should stay out of them."
