But what if it mistook civilization’s guardrails for women’s cages?

What if marriage didn’t just constrain women but it constrained male sexual opportunism?

What if sexual norms didn’t just restrict women but they demanded commitment and responsibility from men?

What if traditional roles didn’t just obligate women to nurture but they obligated men to provide, protect and sacrifice?

Maybe some fences needed to come down, I’m happy to keep that option open.

But before we tore them down, did we understand what they were holding up?

I’m going to assume many never took the time to question that.
