The only ones responsible for holding ‘justice to ransom’ are those who have failed to fund a functioning justice system. Yes, it is bringing ‘heartbreak to victims’ but this falls on @DominicRaab & Government, not @TheCriminalBar. Time for honesty and action. #enoughisenough
From 5 September, justice will grind to a complete standstill due to all out strike action from @TheCriminalBar . @DominicRaab has refused to meet with CBA and stop this escalating justice crisis. His inaction is causing serious harm to all victims of crime in this country.
Our members have made the difficult decision to adopt the current action on an indefinite basis from 05 September.

This is about safeguarding the future viability and fitness of the CJS for all who become involved in it.
