I will use every power I have and I will not relent until we beat this virus.
But I need you. I need every American to do their part.
Get vaccinated when it’s your turn, keep washing your hands, stay socially distanced, and keep wearing masks.
.@realDonaldTrump, Please stop injecting yourself into crises. Don’t try to tell governors what to do. Instead of calling for calm & for the nation to unite, you were sequestered in the White House basement & silent. Governors and mayors, on the other hand, were actively (1/5)
@allenholub There are managers and there are “managers”. I have seen/been the manager “doer/trainer” for junior devs, writing code, leading engineering decision discussions, mentoring the junior devs with practical coding tasks, code reviews and peer programming opportunities.
@yonkeltron I’ve spent months trying to convince large groups of people to stop ferrying buckets of water from leaking ceilings to the drains only to be told it’s too hard to get the roof fixed. Measuring the water in the buckets or the steps to the drain didn’t help matters.
@yonkeltron “Turnaround Time” is a metric. “Unacceptable TAT” is feedback. The root causes of unacceptable TAT are conversations with people about inefficient processes and systems. Fixing root causes requires organizations to believe change is necessary, achievable and worth investment.
@JMilesTV @MattLesser @rolandlemar Here here. It’s one outrage that a generation of children have to be liberated from debt slavery for their pursuit of knowledge. It’s a greater outrage that their teachers are likewise imperiled for the right to work to educate their pupils.
@yonkeltron A person in need enough to ask a stranger for money is suffering from something, whether they admit it or not. Wounded people lash out sometimes in defense of themselves, out of a sense of self-preservation. As in, “I am weak, but I can still hurt you.”
This would have made them look stronger to their base, and weakened Putin's efforts to affect the election.
That's what a candidate who really cared about the security of our nation might have done.
My thoughts on the Mueller report: It's contradictory that a campaign so obsessed with the security of Clinton's email server was so completely silent during the campaign about the many proven, factual attempts by Russian agents to bring them Clinton's campaign emails.
If they'd simply and publicly said during the election "Her security is so bad, the Russians keep trying to give us her emails, but we keep refusing, and we're cooperating with the FBI's investigation," they'd have doubled-down on their message and put themselves above suspicion.
