Honored to receive the Young Investigator Award at #IMS2026 for our study of second primary malignancies after auto-HSCT in multiple myeloma. Grateful to @Transplant_Doc, @Myeloma_Doc and the @MDAndersonNews team. It was a privilege to receive it from @mvmateos. #mmsm
Great to see our #IMS26 study on second primary malignancies featured by @Blood_Cancers Today ! Thank you for highlighting our findings and their implications for the long-term care of patients with myeloma.

@CoachBon@UTMDAnderson@Transplant_Doc@Myeloma_Doc One reason our estimate is higher than in some earlier reports is that, thanks to more effective myeloma treatments, patients now live much longer after transplantation. This also gives second cancers more time to develop and be diagnosed
At #IMS2026 in Glasgow, I presented our @UTMDAnderson study of 2,419 myeloma pts after auto-HSCT. SPMs occurred in 10.1%: ~1/4 hematologic, ~1/4 NMSC and ~1/2 other solid tumors. New SPMs occurred beyond 10 years, supporting long-term surveillance. @Transplant_Doc@Myeloma_Doc
Del(13q)/−13 is independently associated with inferior PFS and OS in MM patients undergoing autoHSCT, with an additive adverse effect when co-occurring with HRCA #mms#bmtsm@dmikulskimd#orenpasvolsky@UTMDAnderson https://t.co/zyLWCoAL1S
Delighted to share our new @BrJHaem paper: del(13q)/−13 independently predicted inferior PFS and OS in 1,680 patients with #MultipleMyeloma undergoing upfront autoHCT.
Many thanks to all co-authors, especially @Myeloma_Doc and @Transplant_Doc!

Bonus #Myeloma Paper of the Day from our team @MDAndersonnews: Single cell analysis of tumor microenvironment landscape across myeloma disease spectrum finds 5 reproducible TME ecotypes that have prognostic significance and may help guide therapy: https://t.co/YwDJtZ7F85. #mmsm
At #EHA2026, we show that combining IMS-IMWG with R2-ISS in 914 transplant-eligible #myeloma pts identifies a distinct intermediate-risk group (standard-risk by IMS-IMWG but with R2-ISS III–IV) not captured by genomic classification alone (PF1122). Disease burden still matters.
Presented at #EHA2026: independent validation of the new IMS–IMWG high-risk classification in 1,193 transplant-eligible #myeloma patients (poster PF777).
The model showed robust prognostic value, with outcomes worsening stepwise as high-risk features accumulated.

Three posters, countless inspiring discussions, and plenty of Swedish sunshine ☀️🇸🇪
Excited to be at #EHA2026 in Stockholm, sharing our work on #myeloma and engaging with colleagues from around the globe. @Transplant_Doc#MM#MMSM
@Myeloma_Doc Thank you for highlighting our work, Professor @Myeloma_Doc ! Great to see the ATLAS study recognized in #Myeloma Paper Of The Day. Warm regards!
#ASH25 US Multiple Myeloma Immunotherapy consortium
We presented 14 orals, 8 posters at ASH!
Now with 25+ sites
Could never have imagined this success when Dr Hansen, Patel and I co-founded this 4+ years ago.
Incredible collaborative effort!! A lot of work goes into this.
#ASHkudos to @SLentzsch
This is the nicest and most succinct explanation I’ve seen for CAR-T before bsAbs in myeloma 👏
And I agree! Even once MajesTEC-3 approved based on #ASH25 results, please make sure #MMsm pts hear about BCMA CAR-T as an option before starting bsAbs!
