Very proud of the members of E22/L13/B10 and every current @FDNY member who maintains and carries forth the legacies of our fallen. Thank you for sharing this @denisleary and @LearyFF
"In a very short period of time… not one member will have worked that particular day or worked that particular cleanup. But— the legacy of that day will perpetuate through every New York City Firefighter, deep down in their hearts." -Captain Doug Mitchell, @FDNY L-38
Could not be more proud of my brother and fire service leader @ChiefDanShaw. Congratulations on your continued success in a great department! It has been quite a journey. Glad we got to share not only a few hallways but also a few laughs along the way.
. @ChiefJohnButler is pleased to announce that Deputy Chief @ChiefDanShaw has been promoted to Assistant Chief with #FCFRD. Assistant Chief Shaw will head the Office of the Fire Chief. More: https://t.co/vkjF1NjoXT

Great to discuss the new #FDNY Engine manual & the nuanced process of crafting a fire service document. So many dedicated & knowledgeable people helped make this the exceptional document that it is. @LtRayMack@fireengineering#firefighters@TheSecretList
@mh2ofire @AndyFredericks Thank you for the kind words Sir. A pleasure to be there in person and in internet land... keep motivated, keep moving forward, stay true to yourself and your crew!
FDNY Foundation announced a special screening of the film “Chief’, created by Can Man Productions, with support from FirstNet, Built with AT&T, about William Feehan and his time in the FDNY. The film will screen virtually online on National First Responders Day—October 28, 2021
@AfterTheFirePod @FDNY@UFANYC@FDNYFoundation@joinFDNY@Firefrank76 @BC9MVM @TheSecretList@nycgov@NFFF_News Michael was assigned out of proby school initially for a 7-week detail to E81. I sat across from him many tours on the backstep as I was there on the 'rotation'. A young man eager to make a difference, I can not wait to meet his son... I hear he is in the academy as we type.
While I never met the man, I had the opportunity to work under his brother's command and alongside his son. A great family legacy of service. Rest in peace Captain Galvin
Today we laid to rest retired Captain John Galvin. He was a good and decent man who set a great example for young firefighters, fathers and husbands. He touched so many and will be deeply missed. The FDNY and Farrell Hockey families won’t be the same. - @SerraRob@RayPfeiferFDTN
