I want EVs to win. But there are environmental costs to them we’re not talking about.

✅ You’re only as green as the way your energy is generated. 1/3rd of electricity is made by coal plants.
✅ Heavy cars (including EVs) damage roads. Asphalt and concrete release massive CO2.

My rule of thumb is that you’ll probably spend at least $1M to move to Kubernetes. That’s new ops hires, training, initial productivity loss, etc.

If you don’t have a $1M problem that Kubernetes is solving then I don’t think you should even consider it.
