The altcoin market has turned into a Keynesian "casino" (I was actually reading about this economic theory recently).

It's all about the "average opinion of the average opinion." Investors often don't analyze the technology itself. Instead, they try to guess whether other people will believe in the asset strongly enough to push the price higher.

The altcoin bubble has already burst
It just wasn't as global or as dramatic as the 2008 financial crisis.
Eventually, people came to the same realization, and it only reinforces the fact that this pattern applies to every form of investing.

When building real value becomes nothing more than a byproduct of a speculative game, the actual work of creating a great product will most likely be done poorly
