@PlanetEarth_HD This is a Holter report. It’s the result of one test that investigates just the heart rate and rhythm. It doesn’t report on other causes of the chest pain. It would be like a radiologist saying you have a normal CXR and you being mad as it doesn’t answer why u are throwing up.
@PerformativeM loling at this crazy cope. You $tuff your clinics with easy patients, do 5 minutes of work and cognitive ability, and anything that takes longer, feel free to say that’s “not feasible in the real world practice”. Enjoy no one looking over your shoulder and no quality control
@AnilMakam Gen Z in the comments asking why this is a bad thing - mean while there is no other job where after two months you can just take a week off???
@ItsGoharr@BoringBiz_ It’s so wild. Software, med school and law - all fields that no matter how many years your e in you’re useless. Soon to be sales and then trades.
@curmudgeoncard This is obviously ECMO. Go ahead and put the IABP while waiting for cannulation but this severity of biventricular shock is unlikely to improve with just 0.5lpm of flow. This is a no brainer and the correct choice is VA.
Or sure, wait til her Cr is 4 and her lactate is 8.
@GolferGolfin@KadriJibraan There’s a ton dude lol. Met a Canadian who works at OpenAI last month and he told me that like 15 people on his team are from Waterloo
@nikillinit @PoleDoctress Probably. Collectively, we need to solve the liability issue, however. If your LLM misses an important clue in your specific patient (even if otherwise normal), who gets sued?
difficult to imagine a law office eager to have their own free LLM for on demand legal advice…
@nikillinit @PoleDoctress Well it’s unpaid work with liability attached to every answer. Most doctors do this because it’s nice and good to help patients - otherwise it’s easier to offload this to an NP. No other industry would do this. Ex free legal advice from a fancy lawyer every other day?
@IM_Crit_ What's the point of this AI generated image? it's so not useful.....she has No neck wound, the thing she's holding up doesn't even make sense it's not a TVP, and the writing on the board is fake...I hate this shit.
@georgetolisjr It's an art that is alive and well in some centres around the USA and Canada and probably Europe as well! Crucial skill especially as skill in echocardiography is far and few between as well, with expert readers being hard to find.
@smithECGBlog@DrDave01@PendellM another example of an obvious ischemic ECG, with ongoing chest pain. competent centers send this ECG to the cath lab immediately prior to the cardiac arrest.
