Although Amazon uses third party contractors who are the “employer of record”, AMZ retains the right to fire individual workers, set their schedule, control their routes, etc. So drivers here and in Palmdale are arguing AMZ is a joint employer and they are striking AMZ

@heyyitsdidi My brother was born a week after my birthday. Just thought it was coincidence until my partner said, “Huh, so what was going on 9 months before your birthdays?” And I realized it fell exactly on my parents’ anniversary. My sister was also born 9 months after my dad’s b-day
