"I spent most of my life in Singapore where things can get very routine and predictable (in a very efficient way) but decided to have an overseas experience with my partner and I. London held a special place in my heart having worked here in my first job in a real estate private equity firm and am grateful for the opportunity at BACKED to make the move happen. Venture capital has always been a huge draw personally; taking early stage bets on potential ground-breaking companies that could make an impact on the world. Identifying successful companies is often more art than science but BACKED’s #humancentric focus on founders resonated deeply, to be able to connect and work alongside their genius made it a perfect fit.
