I think the title implies that if Catherine and Newt pursue their love and walk away from everything to do so, all their problems would be left behind. Although, this can be difficult since long walks are a tiresome process with many obstacles. #laylit20

@litwithlayton Newt is not an overly masculine person. He has some traits such as joining the army, but other than that he is in touch more with his feelings that he professes for Catherine and he also goes AWOL which is seen as cowardice. #laylit20

@litwithlayton I think he’s satirizing the concept of absolute equality. He lowers the qualities of everyone instead of increasing them to match other intelligent people like one would assume. Because of this he creates a society devoid of human characteristics. #laylit20

Fiona may not realize the severity of what she has actually done. Blinded by the emotions of finally having some type of familial love she indulges in it and ends up assisting Adam gain non-platonic love. #laylit20

As Adam daydreams about “wonderful, impossible fantasies” I think it’s possible that this relationship takes a disturbing turn. Is Fiona the type of person to do things that benefit her and reject them if they don’t (like jack wanting another partner)? #laylit20

@litwithlayton A life of drugs and violence to normal life after becoming a part of JW shows that keeping faith saved him and took away all his misery. The parents want to support the one thing that saved his father and seeing that makes it a harder decision for Fiona #laylit20

@yashage_lit I think no matter how much you plan something, things will always change and alter that path. For example, Fiona did plan on having kids but her career kept giving her unrefusable opportunities which hindered that path #laylit20

@litwithlayton Usually, cults have some sort of political undertones or agenda that help unify the group towards a cause and requires that you fully invest yourself. Religion is free of politics and serves as a platform for people to store faith in something bigger than themselves. #laylit20

@yashage_lit I thought judges are not supposed side with one party in an ongoing trial. There are laws in place to prevent a conflict of interest like a judge meeting someone involved in a case outside the courtroom. Is there a deeper reason she chooses to forego these rules? #laylit20

@sydnopsis Fiona spent 14 hours a day working throughout the years she could’ve had a child. She chased success for her career so she was never able to achieve familial “success”. Through Jack’s eyes this failure could seem to stem solely from Fiona causing him to pull away #laylit20

@litwithlayton I believe becoming an adult has to do with ur mental state. As some people have said, some kids are forced to take a leading role in their family at a young age. If your mind is able to work like an adult, you should be allowed to make adult choices. #laylit20

@domedarsh1001 The inability to further his own name through children can be a possible reason of resentment from jack to Fiona. Now that they are older, Fiona may be incapable of helping his goals so he feels the need to go to a younger woman to do so. #laylit20
