Happy 250th, America.
As we celebrate, let's honor those who built this country, defended it, and never stopped pushing America to live up to its promise.
The fight for freedom isn't over. And the next 250 years will depend on what we do now.
We've got work to do.
@RepJasmine@JoshJay990 Yet white South Africans are given the red carpet. Yes South Africa is in top 10 murder rates but why only give one race protection. It's clearly racism. My heart breaks for our Haitian family. 💔🇭🇹💔
Independence Day is a reminder that America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens. And at this moment in history—when core democratic principles seem to be continuously under attack, when too many people around the world have become cynical and disengaged—now is precisely the time to ask ourselves tough questions about how we can build our democracies and make them work in meaningful and practical ways for ordinary people.
I’m hopeful about 2022. This year will undoubtedly have its challenges, just like 2021 did. But we’ve made it this far—and I still believe we can build a brighter future together. Happy New Year!
@H2OhTwist I mean having syncope the last 3 visits with him,and nothing being done,or talked to after these episodes, and sending you on your way as if nothing ever happend should be proof that predjudice does exist among the most respected physicians, and staff like I said should be proof!
@H2OhTwist But still no genetic testing when asked only ignored! This is not the race card, but I have been discriminated against which was confronted, and was told there are still physicians who do see the color of one's skin, but again went no further, but ignored. Barely treated!
