The way we handle emotions/stress can hurt loved ones sometimes.
But pushing them away to protect them or thinking it’s easier w/o them can make it unnecessarily harder for both sides.
Letting them in can actually ease ur burden & allow more room for love to flourish w/o strain.
I love people who can put their pride aside, say sorry, and actually change their behaviour. That awareness, accountability, and emotional maturity is so attractive.
the same way love needs to be felt in order for someone to see that it’s real, so does an apology. “i’m sorry” and “i love you” are just phrases without action. words appeal to the ego. action will appeal to the soul.
@SUBWAY I bit into rock that was inside one of your cookies. It cracked my tooth.
Employee and I took photos of it all and I was told I would be contacted promptly by the manager & district manager & have received no help. It’s been over a week & I keep getting the run around.
