1. Argentina were not creating much to warrant shifting to 5 at back
2. Tuchel even had time to ditch the disastrous idea of 5 at back as Argentina were creating chances even before the equaliser
All in all those are the worst in-game changes that you will see. Sold the match.
great tournament for the recently footballpilled. the whiff of success was dangled under your noses, the proverbial carrot that now has you hooked for a lifetime, and it got remorselessly snatched away and stamped on in front of your face. this is basically it forever, welcome
It’s been a particularly hairy month for @domwilliams33, @kartikk10 and myself - any donations to our Movember efforts would be massively appreciated ❤️

Why didn't we lockdown earlier? (Thread)
This is a subject about which theories are put forward endlessly
I wanted to explore it in more detail and teamed up with @BBCPM to do so

If you cried at Bolton, if you got soaked at Histon, if you got humiliated at Hereford, if you felt broken after Derby last season.
This is why you put yourself through it. This is why you stuck it out. Bury it all.
@mgtmccartney@drphilhammond@Martinidoc Yes, no symptoms or a link to a confirmed case - doubtful the current national test, treat and isolate system is robust enough to exclude them either!
@mgtmccartney@drphilhammond@Martinidoc I think we're probably better off encouraging reduction measures like masks, hand washing and distancing at protests. But it isn't falsely reassuring to test negative in this specific context.
@mgtmccartney@drphilhammond@Martinidoc FWIW, agree it's not great test and have questions RE sports testing and don't think protestors should be tested. As you say not enough reduction in cases + excludes too many people who don't have disease + questionable outdoor risk of transmission.
